Description
Objectives of the course (preferably expressed in terms of learning outcomes and competences Introduction to basic laboratory techniques in genetics (yeast, Drosophila) and immunology.
Course contents: Drosophila recombination mapping. Drosophila embryo staining. Yeast genetics, the two hybrid system. Microbial biotechnology: from bacteria to enzymes to production - visit to MINOTECH. Immunological techniques.
