Description
Aquaculture today (worldwide and in Greece). Methodologies, systems and production organization. Basic principles of cultivation of algae, bivalve molluscs, crustaceans and fish. Control of the reproduction of farmed fish. Issues in pathology, nutrition and quality of farmed fish. Environmental impacts. Integrated, polytrophic aquaculture. Modern research fields.
